Meet Tag

Welcome to my Blog of "TAG" he has brought so much joy to my life. I have learned alot about the sport of AGILITY. Tag is my first Agility dog and when I went Shopping for a strong, driven, fast Border Collie.... BOY OH BOY did I get it. He is very driven, has extreme intensity and is the speed of light. Tag is 4 years old and we have been training together since he was 8 weeks old... I'm very proud of our accomplishments the past 4 years as we had many hurdles to jump. I have been very thankful for the great support system that I have. My team has encouraged me through every training session, every trial and seminar. Plus the support system I have at home makes it all possible :)

Roller Coaster Ride

Yesterday was a bit of an emotional roller coaster for me. I'm very excited to be going to Nationals and we are going to have a great time. Saying Good Bye to Aislyn for 10 days was difficult for me. I know she is in the best hands ( Grandma and Grandpa Martin ) but I do have a sense of guilt leaving her. I called my mom about 6:00 PM tonight and I heard Acey laughing and playing with Grandpa in the background.... so I felt immediate relief... I had a chat with Lucy and she made me feel so much better.... I'm so thankful to have such a supportive and wonderful mom.

I finished my day of work today and now it's time to figure out how I'm going to fit everything in one bag and stay under 50 lbs....:0)... I'm really excited about leaving tomorrow but ..... I will be much more relieved once we are off the airplane and Tag is OK....

Everything will be OK.. this is what I keep telling myself and deep down I know it will be.
