Meet Tag

Welcome to my Blog of "TAG" he has brought so much joy to my life. I have learned alot about the sport of AGILITY. Tag is my first Agility dog and when I went Shopping for a strong, driven, fast Border Collie.... BOY OH BOY did I get it. He is very driven, has extreme intensity and is the speed of light. Tag is 4 years old and we have been training together since he was 8 weeks old... I'm very proud of our accomplishments the past 4 years as we had many hurdles to jump. I have been very thankful for the great support system that I have. My team has encouraged me through every training session, every trial and seminar. Plus the support system I have at home makes it all possible :)

PnE trial :o)

Sarah, Gyp , K-man, Tag and myself headed up to Calgary last weekend and met up with Kim, Cindy and Deb. We all had a fantastic weekend and made GDG very proud.

Tag was just incredible.. and my handling was right up there. Sarah made me an awesome video of our amazing Master Challenge run that we placed 1st in with a time of 38.37 or something like that..... then my Standard run and my snooker run.

If you watch closely in my snooker run ( last video ) you can see my ridiculous trademark that I have been doing lately. I don't even know I'm doing it so I can;t tell you why I do it but I kick my foot out sometimes when Tag goes over a jump. Mentally I know I'm praying Please don't knock the bar. My GDG buddies get a good laugh out of it but I seriously HATE IT. You will see it on the second jump after the first tunnel. I didn't actually catch it the first time I watched it but I sure did the second time.

We all had a great weekend and had a pizza party with two bottles of red wine... and found out Deb's true age.... AMAZING is all I have to say :o)

Sarah won a huge bottle of Kahlua and a bottle of champagne and Kim and I were so excited for her. As we were driving home I have no idea how but it was in her bag and not knowing I put it in the Thule on top of the truck and when I took it out...
the bottom of it had broke and their was Kahlua all over her bag and some in the Thule... :0( it was very sad as she was trying so hard to win it.

We will never put booze on top of the Thule ever ever again .........

It was a fantastic weekend of agility and good friends...

  1. Jo, you forgot to mention your Judge's Choice Award. You really deserved that award. You and Tag have really come together as a team over the past few months - you are amazing to watch. I know how hard you have worked to get to where you are today and you and Tag are going to have an amazing agility future.
